Description
Nico Chelsea Girl 1967 Verve RARE LP Velvet Underground Lou Reed Andy Warhol.
Up for sale is Nico’s solo debut LP, “Chelsea Girl”. This album is both drastically different from both her work with The Velvet Underground and her other solo albums. Featuring songs from Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and Jackson Browne, the album went largely unnoticed when it was released in autumn of 1967. But now, the album is a hard to find cult classic. Here’s your chance to own an original 60’s pressing!
NOTE: The record itself is a stereo LP, but the cover is a mono cover. This was the way I found it. I don’t know if it left the factory that way, or if these were put together at a later time.
Record grading: G (stereo record)
The LP has lots of surface scratches that cause surface noise. Surprisingly, it’s not that overpowering to the music, but it’s definitely not a crystal clear playback. Plays with no skips or repeats.
Cover: G (mono cover)
There is some ring wear and staining to both the front and back cover. There is some tape on the bottom seam and the spine, but not on the top seam. All seams suffer from some flaking. Comes with Verve Records dust sleeve.
While it’s definitely not a perfect LP, it’s a great player’s copy! The only reason I’m selling it is because I lucked up on a super nice copy and thought that somebody might want this one. I would love for someone else to enjoy this LP the way that I did. Perhaps that someone could be you!

Shipping is $5.00 via USPS media mail. It will be shipped in a LP mailer box with cardboard stiffeners to protect the record. The album will be put in a clear sleeve and the LP will be stored outside the cover to prevent further cover damage.
