Nice Two Sided TEEN Record by Billy Ledbetter on Statue Records
“Two Hearts” / “18 Nickels And A Rusty Dime" LISTEN TO A SOUND SAMPLE HERE!
Nice TEEN record by Billy Ledbetter Both Sides are good. "18 Nickels And A Rusty Dime" is an up tempo number where his girl wants to go to a movie and all he has is $1.00.
I have seen Statue records before. I believe "Long Tall Texan" by Murray Kellum first appeared on Statue Records before M.O.C. picked it up and Jimmy Gilreath recorded "Little Band of Gold" for Statue before it moved to Joy Records.
Give both sides a listen. I do not believe this is a very well known TEEN sound. It could be yours.
