Description
I'm back to sorting out things out & have not only got to some scarce American jazz / hot dance 78rpm gramophone or phonograph records from the 1920's - the height of the jazz age - I've also some relative bits & pieces.....
This is a soundbox for a gramophone or phonograph in unused condition & complete with its box & instructions. It's either nickel or chromium plated with gold lettering to the "GRAFTON SUPREME British Made". It's obviously new-old-stock & is in pristine condition - even the box is good. I'm not sure whether Grafton had any connection with Edison but the lid contains instructions to set up the soundbox showing the EDISON BELL SOUND BOX GAUGE. It's about 2.5 inches diameter (62mm) & the rear aperture measures about a tight 5/8" or about 15mm. Perfect, pristine, unused condition.
The recent horrendous Royal Mail price increase means anywhere within UK is £5 & anywhere abroad is £16 Signed For. Multiple wins can be combined but Royal Mail have a weight limit so it may have to be two parcels or a Courier for a heavy package. Courier might be cheaper too.
Cash, cheque or PayPal.
See my other items for vintage & rare JAZZ books including Carmichaels THE STARDUST ROAD, hot dance & JAZZ Edison Diamond Discs, original American MILLS one-arm bandit parts, 78rpm American California Ramblers JAZZ records, the horrific FIRST WORLD WAR book "COVENANTS WITH DEATH", three books about EDISON & his phonographs, a new-old-stock & boxed GRAFTON sound box for a gramophone or phonograph etc etc.
