This is a first pressing with the following etched in the run-out groove: "Thank God for good ideas - SCRATCHMASTERS L-17316"

This one gets a VG grade for showing wear but I tested it out and it doesn't sound bad at all - some faint crackle here and there, no loud pops, and for the most part, surface noise is completely overpowered by the music.  Sounds pretty good.

Record Grading Policy:

NM Cover: No ring wear or seam splits of any kind. Looks like a brand new record cover that just came from the record store.

NM Record: Looks like a brand new record. No signs of handling or wear whatsoever.

NM- Cover: No ring wear or seam splits of any kind. Looks like a brand new record cover with the exception of a small imperfection such as a corner that's slightly dented. Many of the brand new, unopened records, in stock at your local record store are likely to fit this category as they get dinged a bit during shipping and stocking.

NM- Record: Looks like a brand new record with the exception of some tiny flaw such as a barely noticeable sleeve scuff that can only be seen when a bright light reflects at a certain angle or a spindle-mark on the label (caused when someone misses the hole with the spindle when trying to place the record on the turntable – evidence that this record has been played). Many new, unopened records fit this category as they may get a light scuff at the factory while being slipped into the sleeve, etc.

VG++ Record: Still has that glossy sheen of a brand new record, but there is more than one slight imperfection, such as very light sleeve scuffs or a few spindle-marks on the label.

(I never use a VG++ grade for covers.)

VG+ Cover: Nice looking cover. There may be slight ring-wear, but not enough to be distracting. If the cover has a special, glossy, or shiny metallic effect, some of that gloss may have lost it's luster. There may be a small sticker or someone's initials marked in pen. There may be a tiny seam-split. There may be one or two slightly dented corners. There may be a small hole up in the corner of an otherwise NM cover, because a previous owner pierced the corner with a hole-punch.

VG+ Record: Nice looking record. This record may have some more noticeable sleeve scuffs, but for the most part, it still has a nice sheen to it that hasn't been dulled much by wear. There may be some hairline scratches, but nothing deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. This record won't have any visible flaws that appear as though they will affect your listening experience. It should sound great; surface noise, if any, should only be noticeable between tracks or during the quietest passages.

VG Cover: This cover is showing obvious signs of wear. There may be ring wear that is noticeable from a distance. There may be one or more seam-splits, but none more than a few inches in length. There may be a corner that was cut off. There may be some badly bent or dented corners. There might be a tear on the cover from where someone tried in vein to remove a sticker. Speaking of stickers, there might be a big ugly one, or several small ones. Someone may have done something silly to it in the past, like writing their name on the back with a marker.

VG Record: This record is still in good playable condition, but it's likely to have some more obvious surface noise during the quiet passages. There might be a scratch or ding on it that is deep enough to cause a pop, but it shouldn't skip. There may be groove-wear. The label may be torn.

VG- Records and Covers: This thing is pretty beat up and one would expect a lot of surface noise, but because it is particularly collectible, someone might want it as a place-holder.  I have some VG- records in my collection that sound surprisingly good once they've been thoroughly cleaned with my VPI record cleaning machine.

G Records and Covers: I throw these at the raccoon that knocks my trash can over in the middle of the night.

Domestic Shipping:  Records will be shipped within 2 business days via USPS Media Mail to buyers within the US and will include Delivery Confirmation.

International Shipping:  International shipments are shipped via either USPS First Class International or USPS Priority International.  First Class shipments to Canada are $8 (USD).  All other international shipments are $15.  (If the item is particularly heavy - such as a double or triple LP - international shipping may cost a couple dollars more, and the listing should always reflect that.)   A combined shipping discount is offered; each additional record ships for $1 for destinations within the US, $3 for Canadian destinations, and $5 for international destinations.  All shipments are packed well in a sturdy corrugated cardboard mailer.

Please note:  Records shipped internationally using USPS First Class International will not have tracking information available because tracking is not offered with that service.  The buyer assumes the risk of a lost shipment should the buyer select First Class International service (although, in my experience, lost shipments are very rare).  If you insist on having the ability to track your shipment, please select Priority Mail International service.  This service is available for $32 (USD) ($23 to Canada).  (Shipping additional records doesn't drive up the cost nearly as much with Priority Mail as it does with First Class, so if you want an order of multiple records shipped via Priority Mail, you should let me know via eBay's messaging system before paying, and wait for me to send an invoice which will reflect a discount.  This will save me from having to issue a partial refund.)

Return policy:  Your satisfaction is very important to me.  If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with the record, please contact me right away, or simply return the record, and I'll give you a full refund for the cost of the record.  I do my best to grade conservatively so buyers will never be surprised with anything less than what they expected, but nobody is perfect, and I may eventually make a mistake.  Please contact me before issuing negative or neutral feedback, and give me a chance to rectify the problem.

Cleaning:  Any record that sells for over $20 will be cleaned using a high-quality VPI record cleaning machine. Records that sell for less than $20 will be shipped as is.
