Description
New Order – Substance Double LP Fact 200 Embossed
This is a copy of the original Factory Records release from1987 issued in an embossed sleeve with glossy picture inners. Matrix numbers A1 B1 C1 D1. MPO and TOWNHOUSE etched in runouts A1, C1; THE PLEASURE AND THE PAIN in C1 and STEVEN WONT GO TO STOCKPORT in D1.
CONDITION
I use the RC grading categories and have play graded the vinyl on a Linn LP12. I have been using high end turntables for over 30 years. My records have been stored in a pet free, smoke free home.
Sleeve: Excellent-
The cover retains its white colour and is in excellent condition. There is a very small amount of corner wear and some light creasing near the edges. There is no ring wear and no writing, tears or stains. The spine is clear and undamaged. The inner sleeves have no edge or corner wear and no splits and are unmarked. The labels are clean and have very little spindle wear.
Vinyl: Excellent
The vinyl sounds superb and is an excellent listening copy. There are no sticks, jumps or warps. There are no loud repeat clicks and only a tiny amount of light crackle between some tracks.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
The record will be packed in a record mailer with stiffener and posted 2nd class signed for. I remove all records from outer and printed inner sleeves before packing to avoid damage to covers during transit. All vinyl is dispatched in polythene sleeves.
I am not a dealer but have been buying records for over 40 years and have decided to let go of some records in the interest of ‘downsizing’.
