Description
Original 1st issue US LP (original gatefold edition)
The legendary withdrawn and highly collectable mix of the Neilsters 1st solo LP.
The mix featured on this LP was originally made using the then experimental and never widely seen 'CSG stereo/mono compatible' process.
The effect of the process is to produce a stereo field that some say sounds 'atmospheric' and if I were to draw a personal comparison with anything it would be the production on Buffalo Springfield's 'expecting to fly' and that would probably be because it was mixed by Jack Nitszche who has the honours on this LP too. The subsequent remixed LP was released about 6 months after this one and that is what you would hear on the CD.
To say that it is different would be something of an understatement - the two mixes are so different that they almost qualify as a different recording altogether.
To make this item an even rarer obscurity, this one is issued on French vinyl.
Vinyl is in EX condition, cover is VG+ (with some small signs of age)
Very very rare and now almost impossible to find in this A1 condition.. grab it NOW!!!
