I am putting up for auction several PROMO RECORDS from my vinyl collection. So, please check my other auctions.

In this auction is a GREAT NAZZ/TODD RUNDGREN PROMOTIONAL RECORD for you to add to YOUR vinyl collection!!!

Here are the details about the record and sleeve in this auction:

·       “HELLO IT’S ME” by Nazz.

·       This is SGC Records 001 (distributed by ATCO Records).

·       This Record was released in 1969.

·       This is a 7-inch WHITE LABEL PROMO RECORD with a LONG VERSION (4:00) on one side and a SHORT VERSION (2:50) on the other side.  

·       As you may know, PROMOTIONAL RECORDS such as the one in this auction were issued in very limited quantities and only made available for promotional purposes to, for example, DJs at the Radio Stations for on-air play or for juke box play. They were not made available to the general public, so they are VERY sought after due to their rarity and limited quantities.

·       This record comes with the HARD-TO-FIND PICTURE SLEEVE which is in VERY STRONG VG+/NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION.  

·       The VINYL (both sides) is NEAR MINT.

·       The PROMO LABELS are CLEAN & WHITE.

·       And there are 2 RELATED BONUS RECORDS that also go to the high bidder:

1)     Hello It’s Me b/w Open My Eyes First Pressing with light yellow SGC label (001) in NM Condition with a little wear on the B-side label.

2)   Hello It’s Me b/w Cold Morning Light on the Bearsville Label (BSV 0009). These were on the Something/Anything? LP.

It’s interesting to hear the evolution of the song “Hello It’s Me” from Todd Rundgren’s NAZZ days to his days as a solo artist.   

FYI: I use Goldmine Grading Standards (G for Good, VG for Very Good, VG+ for Very Good Plus, NM for Near Mint, M for Mint) to VISUALLY grade the LPs and 45s I auction, so please know the descriptions of these grades before bidding.
