Description
Nathan Davis Quartet “Rules Of Freedom” RARE ORIG GERMAN PRESS JAZZ LP
Artist: Nathan Davis Title: “Rules Of Freedom" Label: Polydor (623 275) Year: 1969Condition: Vinyl - VG / VG+ Cover - VG
Description: very rare original Polydor first pressing from Germany of this amazing LP from the Nathan Davis Quartet. Amazing jazz that’s very tough to come by. This is a bonafide first pressing. The album was only released in Germany - it was later released in 80’s in the UK by Hot House. While this copy does show some age, it’s in otherwise lovely shape. The cover is fully intact with strong seams. It shows some wear but is in overally strong condition. The vinyl shows also shows some wear but there are certainly no major scratches, more just sleeve wear. It plays and sounds next to mint.
BIDDERS - PLEASE READ THE BELOW
I grade my LPs VERY conservatively and accurately under a bright light. A description of the grading scale is below:
M: MINT - perfect. vinyl is pristine / cover is flawless and/or sealed
M- : just under mint. a very, very slight amount of wear on the cover or inaudible wear on the vinyl (surface wear from age, generally) but is otherwise flawless
VG+: vinyl / cover shows signs minor signs age or wear that are more or less undistinct / inaudible.
VG: vinyl / cover shows some visible wear / age but is overall in very good shape. pops and clicks may be ever so slightly noticeable, but don't effect play or overall listening experience.
VG-: vinyl / cover shows some relatively apparent age but is in overall good shape and still a fine copy to own / play.
G+: vinyl shows some heavy wear but overall sounds decent. cover has some flaws or shows much age
G: vinyl is in pretty rough shape visibly but plays ok. cover shows a lot of age or has some major splits or tears.
G-: vinyl looks / sounds pretty rough. cover has major condition issues such as water damage, large rips, etc
*a double "+" or "-" indicates that the condition is just above or below the neighboring grade
