About This Record.  This is a very rare STEREO copy of one of the strangest rock psych socially demented records of all time that was banned shortly after release for reasons that Sarah Palin would support—in particular because of the unmerciful light in which the band appears to cast developmentally disabled persons given the songs on this LP; they do everything on this record but use the “R” word!  They’re coming to take me away Ha Ha . . . basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and they’re coming to take me away Ha Ha!

The single of the classic They’re Coming to Take me Away song that had massive short-lived airplay had the same song in reverse on the other side.  This LP contains that song as well as the essential “reply song” to the hit, where the woman sings back to the man who was taken away by those men in clean white coats  .   check out the absolutely insane songs below:

About Me.  I have been a Record Collector for over 35 years.  With two kids in college, I often sell records so I can buy more vinyl or, in this case, pay the last college tuition bills of the year!  99% of what I sell is vinyl; read my Feedback!  I don't sell Craaap; only stuff that I deem worthy so please inspect closely and often.  Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine!    I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved.  This comes in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and new 4 mil plastic sleeve.

Cover Condition.  VG+.  Cover has a cover stain on it, somewhat visible on front, clearly visible on back.  But no moisture damage other than the stain.  Spine and seams are intact except at opening edge but weak and flaking in a few places.  Still pretty nice.

Vinyl Condition.  EX.  One side looks/plays Near Mint; other side has some very light scuffs but plays EX+ to NM-

Label Condition.  NM (Near Mint)
