Description
Yeah, "Ultra Rare" gets banded about here but believe me, this one is ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA RARE - Vance Vivians is a New Zealand Icon in Menwear like Harrods and Tiffanys is in the UK and USA. Started when New Zealand was still a fresh NEW Colony of the UK (about 1909 from memory). When the 1960's British Pop Explosion spread to include Caranby Street, "Vance Vivians" new generation of the 60's wanted the shop to stock all this modern fashion gear. The older generation were not keen and to keep the peace, rented an empty shop next to them and let the younger guys run it as "The Vault". They dressed Wellington's The Avengers (EMI artists) and went one better by arranging for a small Independent Distributor to release their NZ Righted material on "The Vault" Label. Here is Australian Band "The Masters' Apprentices" 7" 45rpm, Cat. # LSD.69, "Living In Child's Dream" c/w "Tired Of Just Wandering" which is an original Astor Records, Australia recording. This RARE copy of it on "THE VAULT" Label, made in New Zealand and bagged in a special "Vance Vivians" logoed bag, is in near new condition (VG+) only marred by yellowed gum mark where somebody taped the A Side to ID Tag it. You will NOT see this again in a hurry - only 100's not 1000's ever made. See photo for Label and Bag.
