In 1967-Holyground Records was set up, the first independent record label in England.Based in Wakefield,Yorkshire,they recorded, produced & sold limited edition LPs ,they released A-AUSTR,this being one of the most sought after LPs for collectors worldwide!

This is an extremely rare original UK vinyl copy of the "Number Nine Bread Street" album,the first release by independent label Holy Ground Records,who were the first independant record label in the UK.

Wow! this is the first ever independantly released LP in the UK!

There were only ever 250 copies pressed of this album and most were sold in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England.Not many have survived which makes this a very very rare LP indeed!

The album features a mixture of great traditional and original folk songs performed by Bob Hart, Chris Coombs, Dave Nuttall, Ivor Lloyd-Morgan, Jane Westlake, Kev. Slater, Richard Parfitt and Piers Johnson.

The record is in excellent condition with only a few light surface marks, it plays through fine with no jumps or skips,only a small repeating mark on the last track of side 2 (listen to sound clips below)

The sleeve is in excellent condition with some minor discolouration to front laminate and reverse.It has the name "Lesley Stott" written in biro on the top back.

Both labels are in excellent condition with some slight discolouration.

This LP will be put in a plastic sleeve and wrapped and packed carefully in a strong cruciform LP box with two cardboard stiffeners to avoid damage and posted via special delivery next day fully insured up to £500 for £8 (UK)
