NUCLEUS ‘WE’LL TALK ABOUT IT LATER’ ORIGINAL first pressing (1y//1 + 2y//1 stamper codes in runout groove) SWIRL VERTIGO GATEFOLD SLEEVE VINYL LP

 

Very hard to find, second release from 1971 on the original swirl Vertigo label with first pressing stamper codes in the runout groove.  The sleeve has suffered a bit, see description underneath, but this still represents an unusual opportunity to pick up a highly collectable, jazz/prog-rock masterpiece at a very affordable price.  Ridiculously low start and no reserve.

 

Sleeve condition: heavily rubbed and the front gatefold is really very tatty with numerous creases, wear and some torn damage to the right-hand-side of the cutout window, though it is still intact.

 

Record condition: visually, the record is Ex without a doubt with a couple of light, superficial, surface-only marks, barely discernable on Side B.  These do not affect play.  There is some crackle at the beginning of both sides which is not evident once the music begins though it does surface here and there in very quiet passages.  I’m being super-critical here and actually, the LP plays Ex-  though to be safe I am grading it as Vg++.  There is no deterioration in sound quality and this grade is based purely on the occasional crackle being present.
