Dear friends, the records available in this auction are from my personal collection built over forty years of collectingadesso! my ebay nickname, means now, right now, immediately, instantly, at this moment. Our life is made up of moments, scanned by time. Second after second, minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, year after year. My life has been characterized by many things and one of the most important was the music and of course the vinyl. I started collecting vinyl since I was 10 years old. And I sold my first record when I was 14 years old. From that time forward the vinyl has always had a place in my days. Just like ... now!

Bid with confidence, knowing my more than a decade history on eBay as serious, absolutely reliable and professional buyer and seller (More than 2000 positive feedback). Though there are rarely ever any problems please remember to contact with me first, if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings. Thanks.

"If we take the jazz, we add the rock and dive around in a progressive environment, among many chimeric possible combinations emerge undoubtedly the Nucleus. A band relatively little known and amply rewarded under its real merits. Led by trumpeter Ian Carr, Scottish and herald of Miles Davis in Europe, the Nucleus stand as a sound laboratory of extraordinary technical expertise and valuable artistic inspiration. external theoretically to prog, they are placed to the right of certain members of the Canterbury school, on all Soft Machine, whose framework it will then be composed of some elements (Karl Jenkins, John Marshall and Allan Holdsworth) leaked from the orbit of Carr. Here we take care of their debut, ie the extraordinary Elastick Rock, 1970, which contains in a nutshell all the ideas, impulses and trends that will animate the Nucleus for more than fifteen years. It 'a puck past a little on the quiet, without major flare-ups or momentous compositions, but this should not mislead; we are facing a whole new experience to music, a union of jazz-rock with advanced instances that we can promptly enroll in the more experimental progressive and technically polished. Ian Carr surrounds himself with a Esemble of jazz musicians among the best of the British scene, among which undoubtedly the John Marshall drummer, keyboard player Karl Jenkins (one of the masterminds of the group) and imaginative guitarist Chris Sepdding, who embodies the soul rock; complete the formation bassist Jeff Clayne and saxophonist Brian Smith. The attempt of the record is clear from the first glance. First the elegant and understated cover reveals to us already what we are going: the magma that shines on the black splits, as the nucleus of a cell, and reproduces by budding constant and spontaneous. And then the title itself, "Elastic Rock," which speaks to us of a particular conception of music, seen as a seething magma which crystallizes from time to time in unique sound experiments yet indivisible, balanced and never dull, striking and surprising. Difficult to describe such a track for track work, since the compositions come together one inside the other as lava rivers giving rise to a constant current which gently pulls the listener and immerses it in a totally unexpected movement condition. Emblematic is the title track, calm instrumental digression supported by low soft rhythms and battery, graceful brass inlays and a guitar that embroiders with priceless class while Striation sees the entry of those who seem to arches and draws a climate subtly disturbing. Taranaki takes up the atmosphere and themes of Elastic Rock and serves as an introduction to the wonderful and amazing Twisted Track, which unfolds in a fabulous guitar arpeggio, sweet and hypnotic. Supported by a moderate but solid rhythm section, the piece has several solos by trumpet and sax that cross; gradually it grows and becomes more muscular towards the end, and the effect is an exotic contamination that speaks a new language between jazz and rock, definitely a masterpiece. Crude Blues is divided into two parts, the first is practically a poignant oboe solo that introduces to a nice jazz-rock song with guitar and brass working of joint and repartee, but this time the oboe draws lively figuration. There comes a poster of the group 1916 - Battle Of Boogaloo, powerful and determined with imperious deadlifts horn on guitar; an issue much more powerful and energetic, with the addition of original vocal inserts, will be recorded a few months later for the second group work, Well 'Talk About It Later, and will definitely become one of their most famous songs. Follows Torrid Zone, the composition of nine minutes crescendo constant that seems a culmination of what has been heard before: the rhythm is precise and punctuated, almost hypnotic, the horns first produced in isolated bursts and then unleashed in solos dream, always with ingenious Spedding guitar that works with absolute precision, and the remarkable work of imaginative Marshall. Earth Mother, merged with the previous experimental and disturbing Stonescape, opens with a rhythmic feature, and now sees the oboe prominently: Jerkins shows his class with a stunning and evocative solo. After a quick and stunning drum solo in which Marshall gives the best of himself, the album closes with Persephone's Jive, a piece from the atmosphere a bit 'less experimental, quick and impetuous, almost a divertissement. The first feature of the Nucleus is an album absolutely be rediscovered; their way "progressive" to see the jazz-rock creates a unique style, which will better body in his later works. The value of Elastick Rock, value that gradually in the other album will be less obvious is that this is an album that flows off smoothly but unstoppable as molten rock, it soaks and plunges us into a vortex size and iridescent, conquer us so quickly that it is almost impossible not to hear it from start to finish. Once the tools are dumb and the music will go out, everything around us will appear for a moment totally and hopelessly immobile."

OUR REFUND POLICY

WE OFFER UNCONDITIONAL MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM THE DAY OF THE RECEIPT OF THE MERCHANDISE, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. YOU CAN REQUEST A REFUND FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE RECEIPT.

The only restriction to our full money-back guarantee is one item per customer per order. In other words, if you buy, say, four items from us, you will not be allowed to return all four, but only one (no bulk refunds will be allowed), UNLESS more than one item is defective or unsuitable for use, in which case all defective or flawed items will be eligible for a full refund. .We consider "defective items" to be those having a fatal flaw making it unsuitable for use, such as:

(A) Undisclosed crack or fatal warp in the vinyl;

(B) Serious defect in manufacturing or workmanship

(C) Skipping during the playback which we did not notice, disclose or describe beforehand, or:

(D) Undisclosed thermal (heat or sunlight) damage causing excessive surface noise.

For the purpose of our refund policy, no other deficiencies will be defined or acceptable as "defects": the scuffs, scratches and abrasions on the CD's or vinyl's surface, if any, are ALWAYS noted and described in our auctions to the best of our ability, and they are NOT considered to be defects.

We do not know how the purchased item will sound when played by the buyer. We can only make reasonable inference on the record's condition based on its visual appearance. The bidders should be cautioned that every bid carries a risk that the purchased item will underperform, or play worse than its visual grade may indicate. In addition, some play-grading standards are utterly subjective: one man's light, tolerable surface noise is another man's unbearable, degrading clatter.

Our grading standards are not subject to dispute or debate, either during or after the auction. Bidders who have any doubts that our grading is up to their standards should either seek clarification from us while the auction is still in progress, or refrain from bidding altogether.

The bid placed on any of our eBay auctions signifies that you have read our terms and conditions, this web page included, and that you agree with our trade terms and policies.

We WILL inspect all returned items for any alleged defects.

For all other disputed items and claims we MAY at our sole discretion decide to grant a refund, BUT ONLY as a credit toward the buyer's next bid or purchase; Sorry, we cannot refund return postage for returned items except in cases where the returned item has a defect; only the NET amount of the bid will be returned. Still sealed items MUST be returned sealed in order to be eligible for a refund !

STILL SEALED ITEMS: In most cases we do, in fact, know for sure that still sealed album contains original, first pressings inside (where we are not sure we will so state). In many cases, we will specifically elaborate and document why we feel the still sealed album is the first pressing. However, our refund guarantee for still-sealed albums applies ONLY to those albums that are RETURNED to us as STILL SEALED.  If you have any doubt that what we have shipped you is the original, first pressing, PLEASE do NOT open the album and return it to us in the same condition it was shipped. Once opened, the deal is consummated and the album is officially yours IRRESPECTIVE of what pressing or condition you find inside. We will UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES provide refund if the buyer disingenuously claims that the sealed item contains something else inside. In essence, you can count on our good-faith appraisal of what we believe you will find inside, but – sorry – we are not clairvoyant. There is an element of risk involved in purchasing still sealed items – particularly those older than 30 years. YOU, the bidder, bear this risk solely and exclusively.
