Description

THELMA LINDSEY - WHY WEREN'T YOU THERE / PREPARED - MAGIC CITY MC-005 What can I say... the story behind this 45 is great. Until a few years ago It spent its whole life in a vehicle body shop garage in Appoline Street just off Grand River Avenue. The owner had inherited a couple of suitcases full of 45s that was next to the spray tent. This 45 is covered in some kind of lacquer called dash-dandy that makes the dash board on your Cadillac look shiny and new. It affects it not. OK, it looks really shite but I reckon all those years in that suitcase have actually added to Thelma's voice. The seller told me this story. If someone could have told you this during the hot summer of 1976 at Wigan you'd have never believed them! Money back if not happy.
