More Soul, Northern, R&B, Funk, mostly from the 60s & 70s. All records played & graded whilst listing (see below for grading guidelines and feedback). Pictures generally show worst labels. Hope you find something you want ....
LITTLE JIMMY GANDY:
COOL 13 - nice, uptempo teen group northern soul - sounds late 60s/early 70s - soft funk shuffling rhythm.
b/w I'M NOT LIKE THE OTHERS - nice, mid(-up-)tempo floating group northern soul - sounds mid-late 60s.
Label - ORIGINAL US ROULETTE 7047. Label shows wear & faint marker - VG+.
Record has light surface marks & scuffs. My nail just about feels 2 or 3 very light scores each side. A-side plays with light background clicks & crackle in a few places (mostly in first third), flip has occasional very quiet tics. A-side (strongish) VG, flip is not quite VG+.
Here's what the play grades mean:
M.........Unplayed - I don't have unplayed 45s.
M- ......A great record - may have minimal storage marks, but plays as new - no background noise or distortion.
VG++ .... a good record - may have some light surface marks, run-in or run-out may have some heavier marks, but music plays great, with minimal background noise that you'd have to pay close attention to hear.
VG+ .... still a nice record - surface marks will generally be light - I'll say if I can feel anything - run-in or run-out may have some heavier marks, but still plays through with occasional minor background noise (mostly drowned out by music).
VG .... plenty of surface marks and/or one or two heavier ones - I'll say if I can feel anything - some audible crackle, and/or occasional pops or distortion, but still generally in background (quieter than music).
VG- .... plenty of surface marks including some heavier ones - I'll say if I can feel anything - audible background crackle, and/or occasional pops or distortion getting as loud as music.
G.... Not Good - record plays through, but noise from surface marks etc. overpowers music in places - I'd only list something in this condition if I thought it somebody might want it 'for show'.
