CONDITION/GRADE (VINYL/SLEEVE)

Vinyl is visually graded a strong VG and plays much better with a strong and little audible imperfections. The label has NO writing, stickers, etc and only slight wear.

GRADING SYSTEM

Please be aware that I do not have the time to play grade all the items that I list. Therefore for the most part they are only visually graded. If I have played graded the itme it will be noted as to it's play quality. Although I have been collecting and grading records for a number of years, I can and do make mistakes. However, if I do, see my guarantee below.

  • I do not grade anything as MINT unless it is still sealed.
  • Near Mint (NM):  Very clean with full gloss and my be unplayed (on a scale of 1-10, NM would be a 9).
  • Near Mint Minus (NM-):  Very close to NM but may have light scuffs which will keep it from achieving the higher grade.
  • VG+:  Vinyl will have light marks, rubs and/or scuffs. Possible writing (wol), a sticker(s) (sol), or a drilled hole (dh) on the label or labels (on a scale of 1-10, VG+ would be a 6). Vinyl will play very nice with miminal audible imperfections. (I may use the grade of VG++ or EX to indicate the vinyl is on the high end of VG+, but cannot achieve the visual grade of NM-). A sleeve graded VG+ may have some wrinkles, creased corners, light ring wear and possible writing or sticker.
  • VG:  Vinyl and label will show signs of wear and handling with some light scratces but nothing obtrusive. It may play with some audible imperfections (usually crackle and occassional light pops).  A sleeve graded VG may have tears, splits, fraying, heavier ring wear, and/or writing - but will be noted.
  • VG-:  Vinyl will NOT look very good visually with obvious signs of wear but will play thru (NO skips or stops). It will have more significant surface noise and audible imperfections (on a scale of 1-10, a very good minus would be a 4).
  • GOOD (G):  I will use this grade, or variation of (G-), on higher end collectable items. However, if I use this grade, the item will have been played graded and I will provide information as to it's play quality.

 GUARANTEE

My policy is simple. If you are not satisfied with the item just let me know within three (3) days of receipt. If we cannot work out a mutually agreed solution, I will refund all your money, including shipping costs.

SHIPPING COSTS/COMBINING SHIPMENTS

All my records are shipped in a professional, corrugated box and I have not yet experienced a broken record. However, I am NOT responsible for damage once it is delivered to the Post Office. Insurance is available for U.S. shipments at an additional cost of $1.30 for the first $50 of coverage.

My shipping cost for the U.S. is based upon using First Class Mail. If you purchase multiple items I will be glad to combine shipments and save you shipping costs. If you prefer I will be glad to quote you a Media Mail rate for multiple items, but be aware that the Post Office advises that this service may take longer to deliver (However, in most cases I have not found any significant delays in delivering Media Mail).

Whether in the U.S. or outside the U.S., you will save on shipping costs when we combine shipments.

PAYMENT

I accept money orders, (including BidPay), cashier checks and PayPal. I will only accept personal checks from U.S. Ebayers with an excellent and extensive feedback history - and only if we agree before payment is sent. But remember, personal checks will slow delivery up to 7 days while I wait for the check to clear.
