The Beatles Revolver LP was the 7th album released by the fab four on the 5th of August 1966. It reached number 1 for 7 weeks and stayed in the charts for 34 weeks. It was going to be called "Abracadabra" but this title was already being used.

There are many LIGHT marks to the vinyl..so, after giving her a gentle professional vacuum clean, followed by an ultrasonic clean, I played her all the way through I CERTAINLY DID NOT FIND ANY SKIPS OR JUMPS....On my Focus One deck fitted with and SMK arm and Audio Technica stylus.

.....She was a simple joy to listen too.

The STEREO split is clear to hear-right from the 1st track with Taxman kicking off as normal but once the cow bells come in-they are completely separate in the left speaker...really adds a new dimension to this whole album, which I have heard SO MANY times in MONO, this is a refreshing change in STEREO.

I really couldn't ask for better audio...it was rich, with deep and clear bass lines and high peaks too..Quiet run-ins and inbetween tracks too...SUPERB!

To be ultra critical-on Love You To I noticed a couple of faint and soft background pops in the middle. Throughout the rest of the album there were just a handful of these soft and distance little pops-nothing of note and certainly nothing significant-really goes to show ho quality vinyl was made back in ‘66; where it could be taken to parties and danced around and yet still provide excellent audio!

WOW-Lennon’s voice on And Your Bird Can Sing is so incredibly clear, it’s almost piercing !!!INCREDIBLE!!

FLAT as the day she was born.

There are just a few (around 5) tiny crescents of spidering to the laminate near the opening, with a couple of small fingers of spidering emanating from the spine and edges.

Wonderful WHITE text to the back-so rare to find this text so bright.

That really is it! Remains a fantastically solid example of Klaus Voormans art and is worth framing in its own right!
