Description
This LP is getting very difficult to find.
It's on the US Bell label and is by a band called Nirvana. It's entitled 'The Story of Simon Simopath' and was released in 1968. The album was first released on the UK Island label but this is an American pressing.
It's a stereo recording and the catalogue number is 6015SB.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve is in fine condition with some minor wear, ring wear and creasing. The edges and spine show some very minor wear. The rear of the sleeve is in fine comdition with minimal discolouration and wear. There are two small holes punched in the front bottom left hand corner. The wording along the spine is 100% readable. I've graded the sleeve VG++.
INNER BAG - Plain white paper type.
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It appears to have been played a few times. There are some light superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some minor surface noise and one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.
LABELS - The labels are blue with the Bell logo at the top and silver wording. There are some spindle marks on both sides around the hole. The labels are in fine condition with no damage. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 6015SA - side two - 6015SB. I've graded the record as Ex-- which I believe is very fair.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
