HAND NUMBERED #6 OUT OF 14
PRIVATE PRESSING / ONLY 14 EXIST!!!
Features an excellent looking and totally unique test pressing-only sleeve with alternate custom artwork! Label features handwriting that denotes the catalog number "VIS-09319" and the fact that it's a test pressing, a date, etc. This is presumably all information written on the record by the pressing plant where it was made. The matrix reads only: "Side A" & "Side B". Features an alternate cover that is supposedly very different from the actual release. Although from all of my research, the regular release of this has yet to ever surface. Perhaps the idea was shelved forever. If so, this may be the only way you may ever be able to own this ultra rare artifact.
Here is some information that I gathered about this release that has yet to ever see the light of day as of now:
"This 12-track album focuses on the absolute hardest-to-find live recordings from their entire career. As far as Nirvana fan club releases go, this one is a real treat... The LP begins with 3 rare tracks from the first-ever concert in which they performed under the name Nirvana: “If You Must”, “Pen Cap Chew”, & “Raunchola”. “Run Rabbit Run” (from a 1988 dorm room party), “Token Eastern Song”, “Stain” (only played a handful of times ever), “Oh The Guilt”, “Mr Moustache”, “Swap Meet”, “Beeswax” (These last two tracks being early songs revived one-time-only with Dave Grohl on drums in ’92), “Verse Chorus Verse”, & “Talk To Me”. This release features excellent sound quality: All tracks are from the original masters or first generation sources and have been carefully remastered."
