Description

Geffen Records 424 536-1. This is the UK reissue from 2003 which contains what is generally accepted to be Steve Albini's original, unaltered mix of the album. This is believed to be as a result of a mistake at the pressing plant in Germany when the wrong master tapes were used to have the album re-cut. The matrix numbers in the run-out grooves are as follows:

  • Side A - (stamped): A33 9124 536 S1 320
  • Side B - (stamped): A33 9124 536 S2 320

  • I bought this new from HMV Oxford Circus in London when I was working there in 2003. I think I'd read about the mix-up and we managed to get a few copies into the shop. I only ever played it once I think and I've stored it carefully ever since, so the cover and record are both in NEAR MINT/LIKE NEW condition. You won't find a better copy! 2nd Class P&P within the UK is £3.30. Airmail shipping in Europe is £7.50. Airmail shipping for the rest of the world is £11.00.
