NIRVANA – BLEACH Spattered Red & White Vinyl + 7” Blue Sliver
Original US Erika release of Nirvana's 1989 Debut Album "Bleach" on Limited Edition Red & White Splattered Vinyl ** Sub Pop Records Catalogue #. SP 34 (stereo) (made in USA by Erika Records) . DEAD WAX NOTATIONS -A: SP 34-A L32926 and K disc ch (scratched in) AND B: SP 34-B L329 (then a scratched through number) 26X and K disc ch (scratched in).
Here is the real deal. The BLEACH marbled vinyl LP limited to 500 numbered copies, sold in Europe shrink-wrapped with a blue vinyl sliver 7", this is number # 466/500.
I am the original owner. Picked it up in Soho, London in the early 90’s when I had hair. I remember it came sealed, and you had no idea what the colour of the vinyl inside was. The album itself was played once upon purchase, as my brother had a copy on black vinyl we played his. Sliver 7” has been played a few times, but shows no sign of wear or audio quality loss. This is a regretful sale, bit at least it will go to a collector who loves awesome music.
NIRVANA COLLECTORS - This is what you’ve been waiting for I’ve only seen a few of these come up on ebay. If you're a fan then you know how rare these are.
A number of copies have appeared which don't have the 7" and sticker. This either means that there were copies sold alone (so there are more than 500 total), or that the owner threw away the sticker with the wrap, and kept the two records separately.
