ITEM DESCRIPTION

Back in 1991 I was working in Aberystwyth on the wild West coast of Wales, UK back then there was a store called Woolworths or Woolies for short which sold all sorts of stuff from TV's to furniture. A mate of mine worked out that they got rare vinyl from time to time in this store, he had picked up a couple of numbered Guns n' Roses LPs. I only bought one record and this is it- the pride of my relatively modest vinyl collection!

You're bidding on a VERY RARE European release of NIRVANA's seminal debut album Bleach on marbled / "splattered" RED / WHITE vinyl.  This very attractive record was packaged with a "bonus" copy of NIRVANA's "Sliver" b/w "Dive" 7" single on translucent BLUE vinyl.  This source was pressed in the US, but sold only in Europe.  Only 500 copies of this limited-edition set were pressed, making this the rarest variation of Bleach ever produced (except for test pressings and one-of-a-kind pressing errors).  Most of these contain a special black / silver numbered limited-edition sticker on the shrinkwrap - this copy includes the limited-edition sticker and the original shrinkwrap.  This has been one of the jewels of my collection, but I'm forced to let it go.

BLEACH:  This record is unused, and the sleeve shows no signs of shelf wear/creasing.    The vinyl itself is in excellent shape, with no visible flaws, scratches, or scuffs.

The catalogue number is "SP-34."  Erika Records credits can be seen on the rear cover.  The matrix numbers are handwritten and as follows:

   Side B:   SP-34-B Kdisc ch L.329626.X  (the first "6" is scratched out)

SLIVER:  This record is unused, and sleeve and record are in excellent condition.  The sleeve is a glossy cardstock that is sealed on three sides (opens at the top) - a different sleeve than other copies of "Sliver" that I've owned.  The record is in excellent shape, with no visible flaws, scratches, or scuffs.
