I Love My Computer

NLV Australia

gatefold blue & white galaxy vinyl LP (indie exclusive) Cat: DA 22IEX
Rel: 2 Nov 26
Pop Side 1 - Track 1. London Song Side 1 - Track 2. iPod Touch Side 1 - Track 3. Fuck My Computer Side 1 - Track 4. CSIRAC Side 1 - Track 5. Delete Side 1 - Track 6. Track 6 Side 2 - Track 1. All I Am Side 2 - Track 2. Infohazard Side 2 - Track 3. Battery Death Side 2 - Track 4. Sing Good Side 2 - Track 5. It's You (with Diane) Side 2 - Track 6. All At Once

Calling a song 'Fuck My Computer' is funny enough, but Ninajirachi makes the affection behind it surprisingly convincing. The hefty dubstep helps. Raised in Kincumber, New South Wales, Nina Wilson fills her debut I Love My Computer with the electronic excess that made discovering music online so exciting in the 2010s. 'iPod Touch' is especially lovely, remembering FL Studio alongside cheap clothes and slightly fraught beach days. And 'London Song' gets real romance out of travelling with a laptop, which takes some doing.
