Up for auction is a super clean copy of the insanely rare album by Nico Gomez & His Afro Percussion Inc. entitled "Ritual" originally released on Omega Records (444.022) in 1971. This is a high-quality rare reissue, pressed in The Netherlands in the 1990s. Still in opened factory shrink wrap. No UPC/bar code. Pristine copy. Long out of print. Original copies in this condition sell for over $300. Most copies for sale on eBay are cheap reissues on the Mr. Bongo label out of the U.K. This one is an authentic reissue on the same rare Dutch Omega label. Many copies of this Dutch reissue have sold for over $100.00.
Cover is still in shrink wrap, and it's in superb condition, with virtually no signs of wear or previous handling. Tiny amount of rubbing at opening edge on corners. Grade the cover Near Mint (NM).
Vinyl is also in beautiful condition, nice and shiny, no real signs of previous handling or play. No scratches or scuffs. Clean labels, no marks around spindle holes. I've owned this copy since new, and I don't think it's every been played. Grade the vinyl as new, Near Mint (NM).
