This is the very first US LP release (1976) of Nick Drake's second album, containing "One of These Things First."
I generally love to overshare in these descriptions, and talk about what the music and artists have meant to me.
For this one, though, my instinct is to hush. It's a gentle, heartfelt, otherworldly, exceptional record. Very special. Please go stream any 60 seconds of Nick Drake, and you'll know immediately if it's for you.
Yes that's John Cale on viola and celeste and harpsichord.
