Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare 3rd U.K. pressing of Nick Drake – Five Leaves Left on the Island label, cat. no. ILPS 9105.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a couple small, audible marks. The labels are in VG++ condition, there are a couple spindle marks and some very slight handling wear on the outer edge of the labels.
On this pressing, the gatefold cover was reduced to a single sleeve, which is in EX minus condition. There is some slight ring wear on the front and there is a very tiny sticker tear mark in the upper right hand corner on the front. Besides mentioned tiny defects, the cover looks great; no writing, or other unwanted.
Although not the legendary Pink Island pressing, this mid 1970’s repressing of Nick Drake’s debut album from 1969 is very playable. And This album is a truly must have all psych / folk collectors! Happy Bidding!
