One of the very rarest psych folk albums from the UK and any time this album comes up for sale there is a sense of excitement. Nick only sold 4000 copies for all three albums he did before his untimely demise. It is becoming nearly impossible these days to still find copies of the original first issue of this timeless album.
THE SUPREME VINYL PLAYS GREAT ALL THE WAY THROUGH BOTH SIDES ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME WISPY HAIRLINES.
THE STEREO REPRODUCTION IS SUPERB AND EVERY NOTE IS HEARD CLEARLY AND CRISPLY WITHOUT DISTORTION. NEEDLESS TO SAY, NO STICKS OR JUMPS!
IT WILL BE A LONG TIME BEFORE THIS TURNS UP AGAIN WITH AGAIN MORE TAKERS THAN EVER BEFORE. THIS IS AN EXCELLENT INVESTMENT PIECE.
Vinyl: VG+. A sublime vinyl with fantastic sound reproduction. No marks, some fine hairlines, still looks gleaming and glossy. There are a few paper retraction traces visible under a strong light source. First press matrices and mother stampers. I have played this in full and the stereo sound is still supreme and this plays with gusto. Light static in places but would improve with a clean of your choice. This will be a fantastic item for most long time psych collectors!
Sleeve: VG. Matt textured sleeve which has a small catalogue sticker attached to the front right top. Light thumb crease near opening. The spine has storage wear. The top and bottom edges have just light wear. NO seam splits, NO damage. A nice crisp opening. This is a super rare album and only the first ever I have come across as an original first press.
This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can.
