Here we have my super rare UK white label test pressing for the 2006 limited edition 17 track vinyl LP of home recordings “Time has told me”, in near mint condition.
Contains fascinating, alternative takes of some of Nick Drake’s classic tracks and radio sessions (some of which are simply not available elsewhere) spanning the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. This example is one of only 6 white label vinyl copies ever produced in 2006 prior to pressing the limited edition album of the same name.
The12” vinyl label is stamped with the production date of 2006 and 'test pressing only' text, The white paper sleeve is similarly stamped and annotated, with copies of the proposed label designs taped to the front. A fabulous rarity and, with only 6 white label test pressings ever made, a superb and extremely rare addition to the record collection of a dedicated Nick Drake fan.
