Description
THIS IS A RARE COPY OF THE FIRST NIC JONES LP “BALLADS AND SONGS” (ORIGINALLY ISSUED IN 1970 ON THE TRAILER LABEL) REISSUED IN THE UK ON THE HIGHWAY TRAILER LABEL IN THE EARLY 1980s AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN MINT CONDITION! EVEN MORE AMAZING, THE SUPERB COVER IS IN ALMOST MINT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is LER 2014 on the UK HIGHWAY TRAILER label.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED A COUPLE OF TIMES AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO groovewear, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The cover is in NEAR MINT condition (see pictures)! It has NO wear to the spine. There is NO rubbing, NO writing and NO ringwear. The only minor defects to the front cover are two EXTREMELY LIGHT 1cm horizontal creases to the right of the spine and one VERY LIGHT vertical crease from the top of the cover. Apart from that there are absolutely NO blemishes at all to the front cover. It essentially looks as new.
The only blemish to the back cover is some indentation where perhaps someone has written with a heavy hand on a piece of paper with a sharp pen with the back cover underneath the paper. This indentation starts at the left edge of the back cover 12cm above the bottom left corner and continues horizontally for 16cm horizontally and, at one point, where the indentation follows a swirling motion, 4cm vertically. Apart from that, the back cover is firm and strong and has no other defects at all.

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover. All items are fully insured.
