Vinyl Grading

Vinyl grading will always be on the conservative side and I'm sure that everyone will be very happy with it. I would never sell a record that I would not be happy with and I am very particular with my vinyl. Below is a chart of my grading. Sometimes a (+) or (-) will be used for an in between grading.

Mint - Still sealed and in original plastic. A record that has never been opened.

Near Mint - A record with either no apparent play or very rarely played. At most a couple of very light scuff marks that will never affect play.

Excellent - A record that may have some light surface scuffs that will not affect play. Still a very well taken care of record.

Very Good - A record with some visible wear but never abused. The record could have a minor click or pop but never any serious deterioration in sound quality.

Good - A record with visible wear with many scuff marks which may or may not affect play. The record will never have any skips. I will not sell any records with a lower grade than this.
