This is a very clean and strong playing copy of this underrated record. Playback is superb, and the sleeve and disc have only minor and unobtrusive faults knocking them down to EX. It also comes with its original Factory inner. A great slice of postpunk history, and a very low starting bid. Please read the full description below.

VINYL: Visually, the disc has great lustre and shine, without much to report. There are two or three short, superficial little marks, a couple of faint borderline wisp/hairline marks, and some of that brushy ghosting you can see when held to the light just so. It's not pristine, but at a glance you would think so. When playing, there is a tiny warp on side A, which sneers up by maybe a millimetre just at the outer edge – it does not affect play at all, and is so slight that when playing side B it weighs itself down and sits flat. Sound reproduction is spectacular – spacious, hot, detailed and full. Playback has almost no crackle or interference, apart from a couple of pops in the first few seconds of side A. Between tracks, you can hear the wax spit a little here and there, but it is dwarfed by the power of the music the instant it resumes. Altogether this is an extremely enjoyable listen. It should satisfy most collectors and listeners, apart from the most minty-minded among you. 
  SLEEVE:    This sleeve is equally well preserved. There are only the faintest signs of handling, mostly a faint touch of ring shine on the surface when held to the light just so. Its only real flaws are a little moisture stain at the bottom right corner (see pics) and a tiny snub to that corner. The spine and edges are all fabulous. There is hardly and other wear or evidence of age, and if not for that corner damage it would be verging on NM. Overall it's a lovely specimen of this Peter Saville classic, and a real pleasure to hold. Please see and study the pics before bidding.
  LABELS / INNER:    Labels are great. They do have some of that moonscape texture from manufacturing, which every copy I've had of this LP seems to have. The inner is also in great shape with just those tiny creases to the flipback corners, a 5mm tear to one of the holes, and some light general handling in evidence.

Altogether, a beautiful copy of a landmark record. Low starting bid, to get it out of here. I'm moving soon and need to offload some albums.
So pick it up cheap and play it to death.

I grade conservatively under bright directional light, play-test when possible, pack very carefully, and guarantee my records. So bid with confidence.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Your records will arrive very securely packed against damage from both outside and in. They'll be clean and packed in fresh new inners and outers. No grubby old shit.

Each disc is removed from its original jacket and inner, and placed in a fresh new polylined inner sleeve. The disc and the paper parts are then placed in two separate HDPE outers, with a cardboard stiffener between them to keep the disc from impressing itself on the outside of the sleeve. Further stiffeners are then placed either side, and bundled together to secure the package against outside impact or crushing. I use either sturdy cruciform mailers or purpose-made wraparound mailers. I don't use card envelopes or old recycled cardboard sandwiches. I also use plenty of FRAGILE tape. 
I have never had any problem with this method, and I guarantee all sales against damage just in case.

GRADING:
I grade carefully and do my best to list every flaw that might be of concern. I do not use a thousand + signs or exclamation points. I also don't believe in grading anything M which is unsealed, so my highest grade for a used record is NM. Also, I won't tell you a record is in great shape "for its age", which is a hustle. Mint is mint, and wear is wear. Grading is subjective but not arbitrary or relative. 
NM Like new. The item shows next to no visible or audible signs of use. No scratches, bumps, splits, or creases beyond what you might find on a new record, with everything present and in nearly-new condition. Some natural ageing of materials may be allowed (such as overall yellowing of paper or laminate shrinkage), but not if it is the result of bad storage. This is what a record might look like after it's come home from the shop, been opened and played with great care a few times and stored away in a safe place without incident. 
EX+
This grading is for records which are NM but for one or two minor faults ? perhaps a few spindle traces, a hairline mark, a thumb crease, a little corner snub, light foxing spots, etc.

EX Vinyl retains its lustre, but may have a moderate amount of spindle wear or some very superficial marks (such as sleeve removal wisps), without any significant lessening of sound quality. Faint marks which are not obvious at a passing glance and which do not sound are allowed. Jackets or inners may have minor creasing, bumping, laminate lift or faint ring wear or edge wear, but are basically unmarred by any careless handling, abuse or neglect. No tears or splits or loss of legibility. A very small and unobtrusive bit of writing may be allowed. All items should be present (inners, inserts, etc.). This is the grade I myself am usually very happy with ? very well looked-after and a pleasure to behold. It's what a lot of dealers and collectors regard as NM.
VG+ Record has been mostly well looked after but suffered some visible or audible wear along the way. Some minor scuffs or scratches may be noticeable but not disruptive to the listening experience. Briefly repeating ticks or a light bit of intermittent crackle are allowed, but no ugly skips, jumps or persistent repeats. Spindle wear will likely be evident. Equally, wear to the jacket might include visible ring wear, laminate wear, very minor tearing, rubbing, edge wear, corner wear, some flaking, and moderate writing or staining, but nothing hideous. This grade I personally find acceptable for those older, rarer or sturdier-made items which have been around the block but are still a good listen and a pleasure to have around. They certainly aren't abused, just a little more loved on.
VG Record has seen a lot of use or a few damaging incidents, but is still in a usable and enjoyable state. It's just a degree further along in terms of general handling wear ? disc may have significant wisp wear or spindling, handling marks, or visible scratches which do not significantly disrupt play. It will likely have some audible groove wear, but will still play well and provide a good listening experience. There may be needle jumps or slight, inaudible warp, but these kinds of faults will always be noted. Sleeves at this point might have some staining, writing, sticker tears, laminate peel, significant creasing, ragging or edge splits, but will certainly not be wrecked or falling apart.

G This grade is for items that have suffered damage that affects listening pleasure, such as a serious repeating scratches, skips or jumps, or which have visible damage that is ugly to look at, such as serious staining damage, significant spine or edge wear, flaking or rubbing, ugly sticker tears or seam splits, water damage, etc. I would only offer very, very scarce and collectable items in this condition. The record is still playable and may be very enjoyable and acceptable to some. But usually not to me.
NEW TO THIS?  Please understand that even brand new vinyl usually has a little surface noise, it really is part of its character. But a well looked after record will also sound great after a ton of plays.
