NEW ELECTRIC WARRIORS – COMPI LP UK'80 – NWOBHM pre- HELL
This is a very early NWOBHM compilation LP, released in '80 on the London based LOGO records. This LP features some of the earliest offerings by bands such as TURBO, BUFFALO, OXYM, VARDIS, DAWNWATCHER and a track by pre-HELL band RACE AGAINST TIME with this unique style a la RADIUM.

This is a nice selection of NWOBHM and stands out from the later NWOBHM releases, for the fact that it captures this PURE & RAW ENERGY that a lot of later NWOBHM simply would NOT have. Not necessarily heavier, but some of the acts here have this bare knuckles, plug in and play feel, and of course, MOSTY RIFF-BASED and up-tempo / upbeat. Side A has the heaviest acts, and the B-side has more Boogie-based NWOBHM. Great tracks by: TURBO, BUFFALO, TAROT, OXYM, RHABSTALLION and of course pre-HELL act RACE AGAINST TIME (Killer NWOBHM somewhere in between HELL and RADIUM with those distinctive vocals)
Condition of the item:
Sleeve: Very Good / Excellent with very light ringwear and a very light crease bottom right corner. Some light yellowing (ageing) of the white outside border, same on back.
Record (optical grading): Very Good / Excellent with one 1 surface hair mark (does not affect play).
Plays: Very Good, with just a few tiny pops on the first 2 / 3 tracks. LP has some surface noise throughout, but this is the vinyl itself, this is one very thin LP. NO SKIPS OR SCRATCHES on the LP. This is one very clean copy

GRADING AND PACKAGING:
I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.
