Description
This is a RARE untitled Neil Young bootleg double LP. Although there are no liner notes, I think it was recorded in 1971, during his After The Gold Rush acoustic tour. I'm not sure where the concert was; he toured a lot that year. Includes Sugar Mountain (with a very funny monologue), A Man Needs A Maid, Old Man, See The Girl Dance, Don't Let It Bring You Down, Love In Mind, Cowgirl In The Sand, Needle And The Damage Done, Ohio, See The Sky About To Rain, I Am A Child, On The Way Home, Tell Me Why, Journey Through The Past, Heart Of Gold.
Two sides are EX, two sides VG+. The plain white labels feature an R. Crumb-style warthog wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigar. The side 4 label has some bug damage, as shown in the photo. Most of the time the sound quality is acceptable, although it falls off a bit during some spoken intros.
This is Young at his brilliant best. Great stuff.
