Description
So incredibly rare in any condition, here is a very first UK pressing FACTORY SAMPLE of the classic Brit Jazz stereo LP 'Greek Variations & Other Aegean Exercises' on the Lansdowne Series Columbia label from 1970, SCX 6414 by Neil Ardley, Ian Carr and Don Rendell. 1U/1U matrix suffixes.
The single front laminated flipback G&L sleeve has a little very light ringwear, some light edge and spine creases and one flipback bend on the back, but structure and colour are both excellent, and the sleeve certainly deserves the EX- grade! Original Columbia inner EX+.
The vinyl is superb, fabulous audio with a little extremely light background noise here and there due to what looks like some very light manufacturing residue, visual mostly at the beginning of side 1, but barely noticeable even in the quiet sections, and easily grades EX, if not better!!
