- DESCRIPTION: Rare original copy of killer indie-press Afrocentric spiritual jazz LP from California. With some free-jazz moves. Pressed in 1984, has more of a mid-'70s sound. Superb quintet - rhythm trio fronted by powerful trumpet (Danny Cortez) and reeds (Jesse Sharps), led by pianist/composer Morgan. Liner notes are an original poem ("Nigrita") inspired by Marcus Garvey.
