Description
"NAT "KING" COLE Sings/GEORGE SHEARING Plays" Remastered by Audiophile Pioneer MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB (081) in the 80's and Pressed in JAPAN, is a SAMPLE COPY. Such copies would be made available to reviewers or associates. The LP has the regular MFSL label with a small rectangle box with "sample" inside (Scan 2). These were limited in number and pressed at the beginning of the process (After the Test Pressings are approved). This copy comes in White Jacket with handwritten title and LP number (with a previous title & # crossed out) as seen in scan and has the original rice sleeve. The Cover comes in a plastic outer sleeve.
This and many other MFSL Test Pressings (& Regular MFSL records) I will be offering are from a former MFSL employee who has confirmed that he has Rarely or Never Played most of the Test Presses (and Never Played the Mint Regular releases).
The LP is in NEAR MINT PLUS condition, and appears to have been played once, with a single visible spindle mark on each label and not a mark or scratch of any kind on the very clean and glossy vinyl.
The White Cover is in strong NEAR MINT condition with all seams fully intact, corners sharp, and the front and back showing Next-To-No wear, with the writing as mentioned above.
There is no Reserve! What you see is what you get. I prefer a Money Order/Cashiers Check within 10 days of end of auction.
