An exciting, artsy, experimental album by the muse of Bossa Nova, Nara Leão, pushing the boundaries of then Brazilian pop. Forcefully playful arrangements, unusual instrumentation and hey-look-at-me soundscaping. Odd, wandering percussion and marimba riffs. Anticipating the genre-bending efforts of the tropicalistas by a good year or two. This album contains "A Banda", the Chico Buarque song that made Nara a star in Brazil and established her internationally, too. There are two more early Chico Buarque compositions, and one of Gilberto Gil's early songs

Rare original Brazil LP. Jacket open on top and bottom, as usual in pressings from this country of this era. Cover has staining from natural aging, a signature on the front cover and a small torn corner (about 1 cm) on the top left side of the back cover (see picture). = VG

Record is in good condition on side 1, short crackling here and there, evident only in soft passages. Side 2 is in good condition, too, on one track there is crackling for one minute, on another track there is fizz for 20 seconds. = VG-

All of my records are carefully packed in sturdy cardboard mailers. I will add two cardboard supports, and the record will be out of sleeve to prevent seam splits.
