Description
Released in August, 1988, this is one of the holy grails of Mudhoney record collecting. This first edition 7" is the small hole version, pressed on urine-yellow vinyl, one of a very small number of records pressed on colors other than the 100 black promo copies or the 800 or so brown copies in the fist pressing. Legend has it that these multi-colored copies were made as an apology by the company hired to press the records after they were late in delivering the brown copies. Only five to ten copies were pressed of each color, making this one of the rarest versions of any Mudhoney (or, for that matter,Sub Pop) record in existence.
The color of this 7" is somewhere between that represented in the photos, depending on whether it's placed on a white surface as in the photos, held up to the light, etc. The record has never been played and does not have any obvious scratches or problems. It was issued without a picture sleeve, and the original clear plastic sleeve is unfortunately gone. Your copy will be delivered in a white paper sleeve and clear plastic 7" envelope, then wrapped carefully in cardboard, bubble wrap and a box
