The Complete Recordings Of The Stan Getz Quintet With Jimmy Raney

This LP record 4-Record Box Set with 12-Page 11"x11" illustrated brochure was released by Mosaic Records MR4-131 in 1990. This set is number 2852 of an edition limited to 7500 albums.

The first group of recordings on this album was made live at Storyville in Boston with Stan Getz (sax), Jimmy Raney (guitar), Al Haig (piano), Teddy Kotick (bass) and Tiny Kahn (drums) on October 28, 1951. There are additional tracks from sessions in August 1951, December 1952 and April 1953.
