Description
The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Thelonious Monk in VG++ condition. Thelonious Monk is acknowledged as one of jazz's true geniuses. His unusual playing style and spare notation make his music impossible to ignore. This scarce Mosaic set (2703 of 7500) contains all of the Blue Note recordings, including both Master and Alternate cuts. There is very little crackle to these records, as they have been meticulously maintained by the original owner. All four LPs are in the original sleeves, and the set comes with the notes booklet and errata sheet. The box is in excellent condition, with some minor problems at the hinge end.
I am not a record dealer, but have done some research on record grading. According to the Goldmine guides, these records appear to be in an overall VG++ condition. I can't see any scratches or other marks, but there is some crackle when played. Perhaps they just need a thorough cleaning.
I will ship via whatever method you specify. The shipping weight is about 2.5 pounds, which means the following USPS rates apply:
Media Rate: $3.16 (very slow delivery)
Parcel Post: $9.90
Priority: $13.20
Please ignore any shipping costs that eBay inserts in this ad. They are invariably incorrect. When making payment, include one of the three amounts listed above, and I will ship it accordingly.
I will include insurance at my cost, but I am not responsible for items once they leave my possession.
Please see my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking.
