YOU ARE BIDDING ON A Morrissey VERY RARE Suedehead Japanese Promo White Label 7" The Smiths which was used to promote the 'Viva Hate' LP in Japan. Catalogue no. PRP 1275 - EMI Japan 1988 The label is sparsely designed with Japanese text on the white label on each side and comes with a Japanese insert on which the artwork of the 'Suedehead' single is also reproduced. Although probably originally photocopied, this sheet is not a recent reproduction. This is an item which very rarely comes up for sale and appeared at Number 41 in the Morrissey 'Top 50' collectables list in Record Collector in late 2009 and is a very rare original Morrissey collectable. The vinyl and labels are in excellent condition, with some superficial surface marks in a few places on the otherwise highly-glossy vinyl.
