Description
On offer is the second of three copies of 'Ringleader of the Tormentors' by Morrissey I am selling (please see other listings for the other two if interested). I had completely forgotten about buying these albums when they came out and discovered them again in one of my record boxes whilst looking for something else.
The album is unplayed from new but has been listed as 'used' due to a few imperfections to the cover which were there from new, and which I think are caused by the way the cover has been printed/manufactured with artwork on the inside as well as the outside of the sleeve. The one in this listing has a couple of very small areas where the paper on which the outer artwork has 'lifted'/torn away from the card onto which it is attached, a flaw that is common across not only the ones I have for sale but most of the ones you see come onto the market. The specific areas on the one in this listing are on the upper and lower corners of the rear section of the gatefold sleeve, on the opening edge. I have included close up photos to show the areas; I have made no attempt to repair them but they look like the paper could be stuck back down to make them near invisible, I will leave that to the buyer to decide. There is also a small slight crease to the spine and a slightly indented line running near parallel to the lower edge of the cover, all of which are shown in the photos. The only other point of note is a small area of light marking (which may come off, I haven't tried) towards the lower edge of the inner white/cream area of the gatefold sleeve, again a close up photo is included to show this.
The LP itself has never been removed from the sleeve let alone played, so still retains the static 'cling' you only get with a new/unplayed LP, and obviously further evidence of this being an unplayed copy is the fact I am listing three of the same album at the same time, to demonstrate their 'new old stock' status. I doubt you'll get another chance to purchase an unplayed copy of this album once my ones are sold so don't miss out if you want one, they are being listed at what I think are very decent prices when compared to current and to completed sales and are likely to only go up in value over time.
Pictures on the listing are of the actual item, this is in hand and ready for despatch. Will be very, very securely packed for safe delivery to new owner.
Returns accepted provided the item remains in the same unplayed condition in which it is sent out, and also provided buyer pays all return shipping costs and sends via a tracked and signed for shipping service. I will not send to onward shipping companies for onward shipment overseas to countries not already detailed in my ship to locations, check with me for a price if your location is not listed. Overseas prices are a maximum you'll pay, I will refund any extra postage fee paid if it works out cheaper as I only want to charge postage at cost.
