Moonrakers Band NEMI 054 (NIGERIA)
visual grade: Vg+ play grade: Vg/Vg+ (check the long audio clips of the actual record on auction) plays fantastic ! labels: clean cover: G (check large pictures accurately for all the details) it's all taped (which, due to the futuristic artwork, don't make it look so bad), tears on front and back, part of one corner is missing, no writings

comments: according to this site/blog (which seems really well in the know) Moonrakers was a seminal band (Another young but extremely important band was The Moonrakers, which- also featured Mike Appoh and the awesome guitarist Frank Martins.):

in the development of the Nigerian afro funk movement. tight band (super kool vintage keys horny horns perc heavy) who really knows how and what to deliver (in the lyrics too), you got a bit of everything from afro soul funk to rocksteady. this is one of the earliest NEMI (054 !) which had never been on sale before on eBay AND anywhere in the whole wide web. most'll be ready for this key slub of afro hipness in the year 3017 but it'd be too late, this'd really be the 1st and only chance to find such a superb playing copy (i know of only another copy in existence). i had been told that it originally came from Miles Clerett of Soundway. TOP SHELF and an EXTREMELY rare album. check cut yr coat, yara (yo !), enia (long and devastating track), move on (soulful). what a psych cover (put some lights on and it'll change colors) !
