A popular work released in '74 with Jamaican ally Ernest Langlin (G).

Not only as a sampling source for BEATNUTS, PETE ROCK, GANGSTARR, etc., but also with Al Green's famous song "LET'S STAY TOGETHER", which represents '70s soul, "LOVE AND HAPPINESS", "KNOW THAT WE WERE", and other gems of mellow groove!

Rare 1974 U.S. promotional pressing of Monty Alexander’s Rass!, blending jazz, reggae, soul, and island rhythm. Features Jamaica’s legendary guitarist Ernest Ranglin. Red BASF/MPS “33” labels. Hard-to-find promo version.
