Here's a Jimmie Rodgers that doesn't show up very often. He does "Blue Yodel No. 12" and "The Cow Hand's Last Ride" on Montgomery Ward 4727. This had been released on Victor 24456, and also on the rare Jimmie Rodgers picture disc, but not issued on Bluebird. A tough one to find!
Recorded in NYC on May 17, 1933, Jimmie sings and plays his guitar just fine. One could not tell that he was in the final stages of tuberculosis, and would be dead only a week after this recording.
The record is in clean V+ condition on the A side with a little graying in the grooves. The B side is in E- condition. It is in the original Montgomery Ward sleeve.
Add $4 (U.S. address) for Media Mail shipping/handling. International Air Mail shipments-a single 10" record, safely packaged and shipped to most overseas locations will usually cost you $19.00. Please don't request a thin or light package, for I will not compromise my safe shipping procedures. With over 35 years of experience, you have no concerns about flimsy boxes and poor or inadequate packaging with my 78 shipments!
