The Monkees--Head--Colgems COSO 5008. Released in 1968, Rolling Stone magazine ranked this at #25 on their list of the Top 25 soundtracks of all time, legendary actor Jack Nicholson was involved in the albums making. This example is the original with the foil film cover and the idea here was to see your "HEAD" when you held the cover at arms length. It was noted by Mickey Dolenz some time later that this foil was ruining the printing presses at the RCA plants that were involved in press runs of this album, therefore a few different covers were released later. The cover has the shrink wrap still on it, the album isn't sealed, a part of it was peeled back, I pulled it back over the cover, but before I did that, thought I might look at the cover and it's mirror like, not a doubt and the back cover is clean as can be. There are wear marks, not on the cover, but on the shrink wrap, and I don't intend on pulling it off, don't want any marks on it. The only issue that I see is a few of the corners were slightly pushed in a bit, I flattened them best I could. The inner sleeve is called "The Inner Sleeve" a news letter from Columbia. Will go with a solid VG+ for the cover. Plays just like new, a small scuff is all that there is, so will go with a super nice VG++.
