Description
This is an auction for Modest Mouse "The Lonesome Crowded West" 2 x LP Original press UP! Records. These records are in great shape....released November 18th, 1997. Pitchfork named it #29 on top 100 best albums of the 90s. In my opinion, this is hands down better than the first album and their best full length to date. A lot of those E.P.s are great, but this album is amazing....anyway....
I am cleaning out my stacks. This is an awesome record, but I haven't played it in years. I recorded it to tape when it came out and primarily listened to the tapes on the road.
- The vinyl is in near perfect shape and has spent very little time under the needle. There are very minor surface lines from incidental wear, but there are no scratches and both records play perfectly.
- Each sleeve for each record (seen in photo) has complete lyrics and band info on one side and a Polaroid shot on the other side. These sleeves have never been folded or crammed into the jackets, so they are not creased save for some very minor, incidental, small "bumps" from basic handling. Also, and this is cool because it happens so often to paper sleeves, the records have not busted through the closed side at all...no holes, the paper is totally in tact.
- The jackets are in great shape too. No bends or damage to speak of...and when you put the spines together, the whole logo become readable, as only the top and bottom halves of the letters on printed on the jackets. Basically, the spines look cool when up right and I never realized they printed it like this until I dug it out yesterday.
