Limited foil numbered 200gm black vinyl LP pressing in Japanese-style re-sealable polybag. Faithfully, updated rendering of original art. Mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio. Manufactured for pristine sound at Quality Record Pressing. Preceding the album that made Modern English famous, Mesh & Lace walked the path of dreamy, atmospheric aggression, paired with influences of post-punk bands such as Joy Division and Bauhaus. Dark and ambient, Modern English were highly experimental early on, giving way to lighter, melodic pop for the remainder of their career.
