Mobile Fidelity Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick Limited Edition # 4459. I purchased this twenty some years ago. My best friend was an audiophilists with VTL amps and Sound Lab speakers. I think he had more in the stereo system than he had in his house. Anyways, he taught me the quality of virgin master pressings and liked Mobile Fidelity as well as other master recordings pressed on virgin vinal. I never was so particular but purchased many albums thinking someday they would be worth something...we will see!
Mobile Fidelity is renowned for making records of master recordings from selected musical artists. The listening quality is second to none. It is like you were in the recording studio while the music was being created, imo. Mobile Fidelity Records are as close as you can get to original recordings. They have not been reduced or reporduced for mass marketing. Sound imaging and depth of original recordings is what this company prided themselves with.
