Ok, here is my rarest Misfits item of all, and quite possibly the rarest Misfits item you will ever get the chance to buy here on eBay.
This is a 10” x 10” stand up counter display Glenn made by hand to put on the counters at record stores around the NY area to advertise the Bullet 7” EP that came out in 1979. He made a total of nine of these, and I challenge anyone to find another surviving one anywhere.
Yes, my selling price is ridonculously high - because I really don’t want to sell it. Bullet is by far my very favorite Misfits record, and this baby is the feather in the cap of my ‘fits collection. So if it doesn’t sell, I’m ok with that. And if it does, well - this is the price that will let me part with it without too much regret.
I’ve included a ton of pics, one of them has the actual Bullet 7” EP pictured with it (do I really have to say that the 7” is not included in this sale? Ok, I’ll say it: it’s not).
As you can see, it’s not in great shape - the paper has browned significantly over the years. Some of the pictures make the red look a little more vibrant than it really is – there’s nothing I can do about that, but I will say that it is still a good looking red. Enlarge the pictures and check out the red up close – that was hand painted. Despite its condition, I think it’s absolutely amazing looking.
